Keep It Quarterly ("we," "us," "our") is a public-policy advocacy campaign opposing the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's proposed rule S7-2026-15. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit keepitquarterly.org, how we use it, and your rights.
When you visit, we and our service providers automatically collect:
We use the following services to measure traffic, track conversions, and optimize advertising:
These services collect pseudonymous data about your interactions with our site, including pages viewed, buttons clicked, scroll depth, and conversion events. Microsoft Clarity additionally records session replays of mouse, scroll, and tap behavior on the page. Data flows directly from your browser to these providers under their own privacy policies.
The text you type into the comment form remains in your browser until you click Send. When you click Send, your local email client opens with your comment filled and addressed to the SEC's public comment system at rule-comments@sec.gov. A copy of each comment is also addressed to copy@keepitquarterly.org so that we can verify the SEC posts it to the public docket.
This means that when you send the email, we receive a copy containing your comment text, your email address (the "From" address your mail client uses), and any name or other information you include in the comment body. We use this information solely to track campaign participation and confirm that submitted comments appear on the SEC's public docket. We do not sell, share, or use your email address for marketing, and we do not add you to any mailing list.
Additionally, the first 100 characters of the comment text are sent to Google Analytics 4 as part of our standard event tracking, so we can understand how users are engaging with the form. This snippet is associated with the same anonymous analytics identifier as the rest of your session activity.
Once you send your email from your mail client, the SEC publishes comments to its public docket at sec.gov, where they become part of the permanent public record. Submissions to federal rulemakings are by their nature a public act.
We share data with the third-party providers listed above for their stated purposes (analytics, advertising attribution, session recording). Comments submitted via the form are sent by your email client directly to the SEC, which makes them part of the public record. A copy is also addressed to us at copy@keepitquarterly.org for the purposes described above. We do not sell personal information in the traditional sense, but under California's broad definition, our use of advertising pixels may constitute "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Our service providers use cookies and similar technologies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not function correctly. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals when present.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal information, and to opt out of advertising tracking. To exercise these rights, email hello@keepitquarterly.org.
California residents have additional rights under the CCPA and CPRA. See Your California Privacy Rights.
Our site is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Analytics data is retained according to each service provider's default retention period (typically 14 months for Google Analytics). We do not maintain a separate database of visitor information.
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be highlighted at the top of the page for 30 days.
