Your California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) regarding personal information collected through keepitquarterly.org.

The short version: To opt out of the sharing of your personal information for advertising, email hello@keepitquarterly.org with the subject "California Privacy Opt Out." We will process your request within 15 business days.

We do not collect: Social Security numbers, financial account information, health or medical information, precise geolocation, biometric information, or sensitive personal information as defined by California law.

Our use of advertising pixels constitutes "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under California's broad definitions, even though we receive no monetary payment.

Your rights

As a California resident, you have the right to:

  1. Know what personal information we collect about you
  2. Delete personal information we hold about you (subject to legal exceptions)
  3. Correct inaccurate personal information
  4. Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information
  5. Limit the use of sensitive personal information (we do not currently process sensitive personal information)
  6. Non-discrimination when you exercise these rights

How to opt out of sharing for advertising

You can opt out of our sharing of personal information using any of these methods:

  1. Email us: Send "OPT OUT" with your request to hello@keepitquarterly.org. We will process within 15 business days.
  2. Global Privacy Control: Enable GPC in your browser or browser extension. We honor GPC signals automatically.
  3. Block cookies for keepitquarterly.org in your browser settings.

How to exercise other rights

To request access, deletion, or correction of your personal information, email hello@keepitquarterly.org with the subject line "California Privacy Request." Specify which right you wish to exercise. We will verify your identity and respond within 45 days as required by law.

Authorized agents

You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. The agent must provide signed written permission from you and proof of identity. We may also require direct confirmation from you before processing.
